Schoolhouse Museum
Schoolhouse Museum
The Little Red Schoolhouse Museum is owned and operated by the Patterson
Historical Society. The Schoolhouse is located at 71 South Street, next to the
Carmel School District offices. The interior resembles that of a typical school of
the mid 19th-century. The building also houses a small exhibit space featuring
changing exhibits about the history of Patterson. Starting in May 2008, the
Schoolhouse will be open to the public on one Sunday afternoon a month.
